Author

Michael Reeves (PhD, King’s College, London) is president and professor of theology at Union School of Theology in Bridgend and Oxford, United Kingdom. He is the author of several books, including Delighting in the Trinity; Rejoice and Tremble; and Gospel People.
Evengelical Pharisees, which follows Gospel People, urges evangelicals to move away from Pharisaism and towards genuine reformation.

The Bible warns against hypocrisy and the danger of it spreading throughout the church. Pharisaism, which appears outwardly as devout religion but is actually fuelled by pride, idolatry, and apostasy, is still a problem among evangelicals today.

Michael Reeves explores how Jesus teaches the church to recognise and overcome this deep issue.

This book highlights three key doctrines which the Pharisees misunderstood: their approach to Scripture, their understanding of salvation, and their disregard of regeneration.

Evangelical Pharisees
will help readers find the necessary tools for true reformation.
